Using the Job search Agent

You may also use the customizable Job Search Agent that allows you to set specific search criteria and get alerts when new jobs are posted. Here's how: 

1. Create a “My State Job Search Account” at  https://statejobs.doer.state.mn.us/Portal/b4cb6f2b4124461edc84882e2a598cec/Home
2. Select “Job Search Agents”; then “Create Search Agents”. 
3. Name your search, select your search criteria, and click “Save Agent”.
4. You may specify the job type, location, agency, employment condition, or salary that interests you.

• Use broad search criteria to avoid missing opportunities.
• To establish a Search Agent that notifies you of any open IT positions, select “Information Technology” under the “Job Grouping” category and click “Save Agent”. 
• You may create up to five different search agents.
