Led by the State Chief Information Officer, MN.IT provides three critical
functions: IT services and technical support; state IT planning and
investment oversight; and state policies and standards.

IT services and technical support

MN.IT provides a catalog of more than 100 IT services to
customers in Minnesota government: executive branch agencies,
counties, cities and educational institutions.

Oversight provides an enterprise view

MN.IT's oversight role, including portfolio management and contract approvals, provides an enterprise view of State IT activity that highlights opportunities for collaboration and helps state leadership prioritize investments.

Policies and planning 
maximize Minnesota's efficiency

MN.IT manages the enterprise IT governance and planning process for the executive branch in the areas of standards, policies and priority enterprise direction.
