With A Little Help From His Friends Man Has New Home
December 19, 2003

SEYMOUR, INDIANA--Floyd Amburgey hosted an open house Thursday, to celebrate having his new home and to thank his friends and the community that helped make it happen.

"I just can't describe it," said Amburgey, a Seymour Parks and Recreation Department employee. "It feels great."

According to a story in the Jackson County Tribune, the home was built specifically for Amburgey, who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. Many local residents and businesses donated time, money and materials to help build the home.
