The choices in scanning and imaging units increase dramatically each year, but it is important to purchase the equipment that will easily accommodate the demands that a business expects to encounter on a regular basis. The fastest, most sophisticated scanner may not be best for your use. Ease of operation, speed, and durability could be more important. Reputable equipment providers can be of great help in explaining the capabilities of various units and their comparative benefits.

The federal law also provides funding to the Minnesota Disability Law Center,the state Protection and Advocacy System, and to the Institute on Community Integration, the state University Center for Excellence. The Minnesota network of programs works to increase the IPSII of people with developmental disabilities and families into community life.
