Human Rights Day Poster Contest

Congratulations to the 2010 Contest Finalists

The winning artwork is featured in a 2011 calendar distributed to Human Rights Day Conference attendees, and presented here on the Department of Human Rights' web site.

Contestants were challenged to create a poster depicting their interpretation of the human rights quote below:

"Human rights education is a long-term and lifelong process by which all people at all levels of development and in all strata of society learn respect for the dignity of others and the means and methods of ensuring that respect in all societies..."

(UN Commission on Human Rights, Resolution 2004/71)

Sponsored by the Human Rights Collaborative

The Minnesota Department of Human Rights, Advocating Change Together, the University of Minnesota Human Rights Center, The Advocates for Human Rights, and the League of Minnesota Human Rights Commissions.

Special thanks to Radio Disney for its participation in 2009 and 2010 contests.
