Associate Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Paul H. Anderson
Plenary Speaker Justice Paul H. Anderson is a Minnesota native. Born in Eden Prairie and raised on a dairy farm, he graduated from Macalester College in 1965 with a BA degree, cum laude with departmental honors in Political Science.
After receiving his Juris Doctor degree from University of Minnesota Law School, Anderson worked as a VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) volunteer attorney for New Haven Legal Assistance, New Haven, CT.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Anderson served as Chief Judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and for close to a decade he was an associate and partner for LeVander, Gillen & Miller Law Offices in South Saint Paul specializing in real estate, estate planning, probate, business law, and construction litigation.
Judge Anderson is the recipient of numerous awards including the Macallester College Distinguished Citizen Award, and the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association Access to Justice Award.
