Outreach Resource List
Contractors can use the following list of outreach resources for recruiting minorities, women and people with disabilities.
The list is ordered alphabetically by organization name with contact information, primary population served, and services provided. 'Services provided' indicates the type of organization receiving job postings or calls for applications:
- Job board indicates an organization that has a bulletin board (paper or electronic) or loose-leaf binder where position announcements are kept, which interested people can browse for job openings.
- Media outlet indicates an organization that primarily publishes position announcements they receive in a newsletter, magazine, web site, or newspaper, or an organization that announces job openings on television or radio. (Some of these organizations may charge for the publication of position announcements or want-ads).
- Referral service indicates an organization that matches people with job openings for which they are qualified, usually after some one-on-one career counseling and skills assessment.
