Join Human Rights Commissioner Kevin Lindsey for a Forum on the Voter ID Amendment and Voting Rights, Sept. 25 at St. Cloud State University
Minnesota Department of Human Rights Commissioner Kevin Lindsey will give a presentation on the Minnesota Voter ID Amendment, analyze the arguments pro and con, and discuss why debate matters for our democracy.
What: Forum on Voter ID Amendment and Voting Rights
When: Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Where: St. Cloud State University Atwood Theater Lounge in Atwater Memorial Center, 720 4th Ave South, St Cloud, MN 56301
Details: Commissioner Kevin Lindsey will discuss Minnesota's Voter Photo ID Amendment and the following related issues:
- Who gets to vote - historic barriers to voting
- Understanding the amendment language
- What is the risk of disenfranchisement
The forum is open to the public and registration is not required.
