The Treatise Finder can help you locate the right book in the Library to begin your research in many areas of law. Included are the preeminent treatises on the subject and shorter, student-oriented guides. Both general and Minnesota-specific titles are included. The popular Form Finder lists books and websites that focus on or contain forms. Law for Non-Lawyers Pulls together books on popular topics written for the non-attorney.
Index to Legal Periodicals and Books allows searching for articles in law reviews by subject or author. Recent books are also indexed. This resource is available on the public computers in the Library.
HeinOnline contains the full text of articles from a wide collection of law reviews. This resource is available on the public computers in the Library.
Minnesota Legal Periodical Index indexes law reviews, bar association publications and commercial publications from Minnesota, many of which are not included in the Index to Legal Periodicals and Books. It has been maintained by the Minnesota State Law Library since 1984 and is available on the Web through a collaboration with Pritchard Law Webs.
