Rules of Court at MSLL

Rules of court are sometimes published with the state codes and sometimes in separate pamphlets. This list shows where to find court rules for the 50 states within the collection of the Minnesota State Law Library (MSLL). The Library may own the annotated code published by Thompson/Reuters (West), Lexis, or the official code published by the state. For each state below, the publisher of the code is noted in parentheses, then the location of the rules, either within the code or in a separate publication is noted. If the rules are also available online, there will be a link. Note that this page is not a comprehensive guide to researching state procedural questions, nor a bibliography of court rules. It is merely a shortcut to locating resources within the MSLL collection. Another resource for finding court rules online is LLRX Court Rules, Forms and Dockets, from LLRX. It includes local Federal rules.
