Funding for the Judiciary is outlined in The Minnesota Judiciary: A Guide for Legislators , from the House Research Department. Look for the section on Court Fees, Fines, and Surcharges.
The Minnesota courts have collected the online information on filing fees and other fees for the appellate courts and the district courts onto one Fees page. District Court fees may vary by county. Not all courts publish their fees online. If your county is not linked on the Fees page or you are not sure what fee to pay in your case, contact your Court Administrator.

DISCLAIMER: As librarians and not lawyers, we can suggest resources but cannot give legal advice (such as which form to file), or legal opinions, (such as how a statute might apply to particular facts.) To do so could be considered the unauthorized practice of law. Even though we try to suggest materials that will be of help, further research is usually required to find a complete and correct answer. For many questions, the best answer may be to consult an attorney. For links to resources on finding an attorney click here.
