IRRRB is continuously striving in guiding students to sustain the environment while simultaneously receiving a world-class education in ground-breaking industries! Through a strategic collaboration  with Iron Range Higher Education and North East Higher Education Disctrict, five new programs have been recently launched to invest in a strong, solid workforce in northeastern Minnesota.

These programs are designed in consultation with regional industries who are seeking well-trainined workers to fill their future workforce requirements and include:

Industrial Systems Technology (Hibbing Community & Technical College) 
Process Automation (Mesabi Range Community & Technical College)
Executive Office Management (Mesabi Range Community & Technical College)

Additonally, each of the five Northeast Higher Education District colleges is offering programs that train students for jobs in the exciting rewnewable energy industry and include:       

Industrial Wind Energy (Mesabi Range Community & Technical College)
Power Generation (Itasca Community College)
Residential Solar (Hibbing Community College)
Green and Sustainable Energy (Rainy River Community College)
Geothermal Energy (Vermilion Community College)
