Project Based Learning

Instead of participating in the traditional classroom setting, Iron Range Engineering students gain technical, professional knowledge and competencies by participating in industry-sponsored, project-based learning. Of the first trailblazing graduates of the program, the majority immediately lined up job placements in top local and regional companies or continued their education into the Master of Science engineering degree also available through the Iron Range Engineering program in partnership with the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
