Officials from Joy Global, the City of Virginia, and Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) cut the ribbon today at the new $22 million, 90,000 square-foot Joy Global Iron Range Service Center in Virginia. The state-of-the-art center houses 60 employees and provides one-stop support for iron ore and polymetals mine operations in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Eastern Canada. IRRRB supported the project with $1,025,000 in grants for site and infrastructure development.
