EVELETH, Minnesota – Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) Commissioner Tony Sertich announced today that IRRRB will begin live streaming board meetings. The live streaming will take effect at the next IRRR Board meeting scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011.
Each meeting of the 13-member Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board held at its headquarters in Eveleth can be viewed live at www.irrrb.org. Meetings will also be archived for viewing.
"Live streaming our board meetings allows more citizens the opportunity to view these public meetings,” said Sertich. “Over its 70 year history, the IRRRB has been an agency that has served the public in many ways. Because this is the people’s agency, we believe live streaming is yet another way for us to serve the public with openness and transparency.”
