Plan Carriers
MNsure is partnering with carriers to provide a new health insurance marketplace. We welcome your participation in MNsure which will serve 1.2 million individuals, families and small employers across Minnesota.
Qualified Health Plans
In March 2012, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued final rules governing requirements for issuers and Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) offered through MNsure. In Minnesota, a Plan Certification Work Group discussed options for developing Minnesota’s criteria and forwarded their recommendations to the Advisory Task Force.
Final policy decisions will be determined through upcoming legislation.
Plan Certification
Before your plans can be offered through MNsure, you must obtain certification of your plans. Certification criteria have been established for the first year of operations. All plans sold through MNsure in 2014 must meet these criteria.
