The Emergency Executive Order will help increase propane supplies across Minnesota, improving access for farmers during the autumn harvest and enhancing the state’s preparedness for the winter heating season.
04, 2014 - The Governor’s Emergency Executive Order delivers Emergency relief from regulations incorporated in Minnesota Statutes, section 221.0314, subdivision 9, pertaining to hours of service for carriers and drivers of commercial motor vehicles while in the process of obtaining and transporting diesel fuel. The Emergency Executive Order will help increase the supply of diesel fuel for farmers and other agricultural operations during the fall harvest.
22, 2014 - The Governor’s Executive Order creates The Governor’s Task Force on the Protection of Children to advise the Governor and Legislature on system and practice improvements in the child protection system at all levels of government within the State of Minnesota.
04, 2014 - The Governor’s Executive Order instructs Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) and the State Director for Equal Opportunity to develop a model for recruitment and hiring strategies to increase the employment of people with disabilities. It also requires all state agencies to develop plans for promoting employment opportunities for Minnesotans with disabilities, and to begin reporting their progress on a quarterly basis. The Order also directs MMB to develop ways to help employees to more easily update their disability status with their employer.
