Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed four bills into law:
Chapter 166, HF 2626 related to an automated drug distribution system in certain health care facilities. This bill passed with unanimous support.
Chapter 169, HF 2060 establishing Medicaid reimbursement for certain services provided by community paramedics. This bill passed with unanimous support.
Chapter 170, HF 2216, a Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association policy bill. This bill passed with unanimous support.
Chapter 171, HF 1829 authorizing County Attorneys and Assistant County Attorneys to carry firearms while on duty, under the terms of a valid, state-issued, permit to carry.
Governor Dayton also vetoed Chapter 168, SF 1236 related to successor liability in asbestos cases. A copy of the governor’s veto message is attached.
