Governor Dayton issues Emergency Executive Order 11-25
August 19, 2011
Today, Governor Mark Dayton issued Emergency Executive Order 11-25 declaring an emergency and providing for relief from regulations to motor carriers and drivers operating in Minnesota. The emergency situation arose following disruptions in petroleum refinery production, coupled with recent extremely hot weather and spring flooding, which caused a disruption in the normal supply of gasoline and diesel fuels in Minnesota. The Emergency Executive Order grants relief from regulations to motor carriers and drivers, delivering to local gas stations and convenience stores across Greater Minnesota.
