Governor Dayton Calls Special Election

St. Paul – Governor Mark Dayton today issued two writs calling for a special election to be held to fill the vacancies left by the passing of Senator Linda Scheid and the resignation of Senator Linda Berglin.
The special election will take place on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. The two writs are attached below.
