  • Dayton Jobs Proposal to put 21,000 Minnesotans Back to Work
    April 08, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton today introduced a bonding proposal that would invest $750 million in infrastructure projects statewide, creating an estimated 21,000 Minnesota jobs. The plan – which builds on the Governor’s proposed budget measures to get Minnesotans back to work – would address many of the state’s needed infrastructure improvements and strengthen Minnesota’s economy.

    April 05, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN – Over the last two weeks, more than 800 Minnesotans gathered at town hall meetings hosted by Governor Mark Dayton in Duluth, Moorhead, St. Cloud and Rochester. The Governor’s ‘Meetings with Mark’ are an effort to engage Minnesotans in personal conversations about his proposed investments in education, job creation, and improving the lives of middle-class families. Another Meeting with Mark has been scheduled for next week in Mankato.

    April 03, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today it is recommending three candidates to Governor Mark Dayton for consideration to fill the vacancy in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District. This vacancy was created upon the retirement of the Honorable James W. Hoolihan. This seat will be chambered at Foley in Benton County within the Seventh Judicial District.
  • Lt. Governor Prettner Solon to hold office hours in Duluth
    April 01, 2013 - SAINT PAUL, MN – On Thursday, April 4, Lt. Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon will host office hours in Duluth. The Lt. Governor announced that she will also host additional office hours on Thursday, April 11, Thursday, May 2 and Thursday, May 23. The office is located in the Duluth Technology Village and is hosted by the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
