With winter steadily approaching, Governor Mark Dayton is reconvening stakeholders today in Saint Paul to discuss the current propane supply and any factors that could impact demand for heating fuel this winter.

    September 02, 2014 - ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety announced today that the Moorhead Fire Department will receive $100,000 in state funding to staff and train an Emergency Response Team, and upgrade and expand the city’s emergency response equipment. In light of the large amount oil transported through the state, Governor Dayton signed legislation into law this year that provided this funding for an Emergency Response Team in Greater Minnesota.

PAUL, MN – With thousands of students across the state returning to school today many will benefit from the $895 million that Governor Mark Dayton and the Minnesota Legislature have invested in schools since 2011. This year, more than 55,000 of Minnesota’s youngest learners will benefit from free all-day Kindergarten, while others will benefit from high-impact initiatives designed to increase literacy and close the achievement gap.
