The first bill signed into law by Governor Dayton this session (HF2374/SF1961) adds $20 million to the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), to give approximately 180,000 Minnesotans the financial help they need to pay their heating bills this winter.

Massman, who previously served as Deputy Commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Revenue, will fill the vacancy left when Jaime Tincher was promoted to serve as the Governor’s Chief of Staff earlier this month. As Deputy Chief of Staff, Massman will be responsible for managing the Governor’s legislative agenda and policy initiatives.
