This vacancy was created upon the appointment of Judge Michael L. Kirk to the Minnesota Court of Appeals. The district court judgeship will be chambered at Moorhead in Clay County in the Seventh Judicial District.
July 26, 2012 - Saint Paul – Lieutenant Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon has been re-elected to serve on the Executive Council of the National Lieutenant Governor’s Association. Lt. Governor Prettner Solon was re-elected unanimously to serve as the Midwest Region, Democrat-at-Large member of the association. The NLGA held their annual convention last week in Chicago, IL.
