    March 01, 2012 - Saint Paul, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today that three judgeship vacancies are occurring in Minnesota’s Fourth Judicial District Court. The Honorable Beryl A. Nord, the Honorable George F. McGunnigle and the Honorable Cara Lee Neville have retired. The three district court judgeships will be chambered at Minneapolis in Hennepin County in the Fourth Judicial District.

    March 01, 2012 - Saint Paul, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today it is recommending four candidates to Governor Mark Dayton for consideration to fill the current vacancies occurring in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District. The Honorable Karla F. Hancock and the Honorable Timothy R. Bloomquist retired, leaving vacancies for district court judgeships chambered at Elk River in Sherburne County and at Mora in Kanabec County respectively.

    March 01, 2012 - St. Paul – Today Governor Mark Dayton was joined by State Legislators, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, Mark and Zygi Wilf of the Minnesota Vikings, and business and labor leaders to announce an agreement to build a new “People’s Stadium” on the current Metrodome site. The new stadium will be publicly owned, support more than 13,000 jobs, require no general fund tax dollars, and keep the Vikings in Minnesota for the next 30 years.
