• Commission on Judicial Selection recommends Second Congressional District Court of Appeals candidates to Governor Dayton
  
  March 19, 2012 - Saint Paul, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today it is recommending three candidates to Governor Mark Dayton for consideration to fill the current vacancy created upon Judge David Minge’s upcoming retirement from the Second Congressional District seat on the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

  March 19, 2012 - Saint Paul, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today that a judgeship vacancy is occurring in Minnesota’s Fifth Judicial District Court. The appointment of the Honorable John R. Rodenberg to the Minnesota Court of Appeals created this vacancy. The district court judgeship will be chambered at New Ulm in Brown County in the Fifth Judicial District.

  March 09, 2012 - Saint Paul, Minn - Governor Mark Dayton announced today that the State of Minnesota has won $28.2 million in new federal grant money to support high quality charter schools throughout the state. Minnesota was one of only three states to receive the Charter School Program Grant.
