Mingo's Guide to Minnesota

I was born on January 4, 2011, on a farm near Clara City, Minnesota. I moved to St. Paul on March 6th, and I now live with Governor Mark Dayton and my 8 year-old brother Mesabi. I am named Wanamingo, after a city in southeastern Minnesota, but everyone calls me "Mingo"! I like to play with my big brother Mesabi, but he growls at me when I try to eat his food. What a grouch! I have fun playing tug-o-war with my Dad, who other people call Governor, but sometimes he'd rather read his papers than play with me. Boring! I also chew ANYTHING I can get my teeth on!
