Who must attend a gambling manager seminar?

For a new organization:
  • the person who will be the gambling manager, and

  • the current chief executive officer.

For a currently licensed organization:

  • All gambling manager changes require the applicant to attend the gambling manager seminar and pass the exam prior to licensure.

  • In the case of an emergency gambling manager change, training and passing the examination must be completed within 90 days of being issued a license.

Registration required.

Gambling manager seminars are limited to 27 people.  Preregistration is required.

Seminar schedule.

Call the licensing specialist assigned to your county for information regarding the most current schedule.

Seminar starting and ending times:
First day:          Seminar conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Second day:     Seminar conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
                           Gambling manager exam conducted from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Gambling manager seminars are held at the Roseville office of the Minnesota Gambling Control Board, located at 1711 West County Road B, Suite 300 South, Roseville, Minnesota.
