 SPORTS-THEMED TIPBOARDS - At its June 18, 2012 board meeting, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board, with advice from the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, took action to affirm that based on the federal law pertaining to the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act and the prohibition of wagering on the outcome of sporting events, the Board shall not consider or approve any game form from a licensed manufacturer where the winner is determined, directly or indirectly, by the outcome of a sporting event until such time that federal restrictions are successfully challenged or removed.
