Who is required to obtain a manufacturer's license? Any person or entity who sells lawful gambling equipment to a licensed distributor in Minnesota is required to obtain a manufacturer's license. Lawful gambling equipment means disposable equipment that includes:

How much is the application fee?
The application fee is $9,000. A license is valid for one year. Submit the following to the Minnesota Gambling Control Board.
Upon receipt of the completed background check and tax clearance, the application will be presented to the Minnesota Gambling Control Board for consideration at a monthly board meeting.
