FISCAL YEAR REPORTS

FISCAL YEAR REPORT: 
Each year the Minnesota Gambling Control Board publishes a fiscal year report that includes a comparison of gross receipts, prizes paid, net receipts, and expenditures with previous years.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY REPORT:
 The Board also publishes a report based on financial summary information provided by all nonprofit organizations licensed by the Board. This report was first required to be submitted by licensed organizations in 2005.

 

FIVE STAR RATING REPORT:

Beginning with fiscal year 2010, the Board publishes a five-star rating report.  Each licensed organization is evaluated by the Gambling Control Board to determine a rating based on the percentage of its annual gross profits spent on lawful purpose expenditures (LPE).

2009 Lawful Gambling Study:

In light of the decrease in gross sales activity for lawful (charitable) gambling over the last few years, the 2008 Legislature directed the Gambling Control Board to conduct a study on the issues facing the licensed non-profit organizations. The Gambling Control Board solicited input from lawful gambling licensees and other stake holders on issues facing the industry and consulted with other regulatory agencies.  To view the report click here.  (NOTE:  Correction made to report on 3-2-09.)
