The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) manages the state's natural resources. Hunting, fishing, state forests and parks, lakes, rivers and streams, boating and water safety, trails, snowmobiling, skiing, education, enforcement, wildlife management, lands and minerals are managed by the DNR.

Requirements:
A minnow dealer must purchase a minnow exporting license when transporting minnows or leeches out of state.
Annual report required.
License issued to individuals only.

Length of Determination Process:
One to three weeks.
Other Pertinent Information:
Any person over 16 assisting the minnow dealer must have a Minnesota angling license.
