The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) manages the state's natural resources. Hunting, fishing, state forests and parks, lakes, rivers and streams, boating and water safety, trails, snowmobiling, skiing, education, enforcement, wildlife management, lands and minerals are managed by the DNR.

Application for OHM Manufacturer's License.


OHM manufacturers need to be licensed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources if OHMs are demonstrated, tested or researched. A manufacturer license is not necessary if OHMs are not in operation or use.

Renewal - $150 + $6 issuing fee 

Period of Issuance:

One year.

Length of Determination Process:

One to three weeks.

Other Pertinent Information:

Manufacturers receive one plate with license.

Additional plates cost $4 per plate.

License is not transferable.
