A person who is engaged in the business of assembling, installing, repairing, or replacing one or more components in a radiation-producing equipment system or conducting equipment performance evaluations on diagnostic or industrial radiation-producing equipment must apply for registration with the commissioner within 30 days following the effective date of this chapter or prior to furnishing or offering to furnish any services.
