Economic Supports

The Minnesota Department of Human Services offers economic support for qualifying families to assist them as they go to work, look for work or attend school.

  • Child care assistance

    Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps make quality child care affordable for eligible families. 

  • Food and nutrition assistance

    The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps eligible Minnesotans get the food they need for sound nutrition and well-balanced meals.

  • Minnesota Family Investment Program

    This program provides temporary job counseling, financial assistance and nutrition assistance to eligible families with children and pregnant women.
