The Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling meets on the 2nd Thursday of every other month, throughout the year, to discuss current issues relating to problem gambling across the state of Minnesota. The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide advice and direction to the Department to ensure that a culturally responsive and recovery-oriented comprehensive continuum of services is available to all Minnesota residents. This 16-member committee is appointed to a four-year term, July 1 through June 30, by the Commissioner of the Department of Human Services. Anyone interested in this topic is welcome to attend.
