Minnesota Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson issued the following statement on the state’s No. 5 ranking in the national 2014 KIDS COUNT Data Book released today by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
"Kids do count in Minnesota, as our push for quality early childhood education and this national ranking attest to," said Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson. "Much work remains to ensure that all children succeed, but we, collectively, have much to be thankful for."
