The Women’s Health Leadership TRUST will honor today DHS Commissioner Lucinda Jesson at its 2014 forum and 35th anniversary celebration. Founded in 1979, the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST provides development, promotion and education of women health care leaders. Jesson will be one of 35 women honored tonight for providing outstanding leadership excellence in the health care industry at the organization’s networking dinner at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
“This marks the 35th anniversary of the TRUST, and our board wanted to illustrate the influence women have had on health care in Minnesota by choosing 35 female pioneers, based on: achievements, evidence of leadership, impact on community, special talent or expertise, unique endeavors, and the challenges they have experienced,” said Wendy Stulac Motzel, president of Women’s Health Leadership TRUST.
