Polish your resume, put your best foot forward and join us at the Get Jobs Job Fair on Thursday, March 27, one of the largest events of its kind in the Twin Cities. Get the chance to meet with at least 100 employers who are expected to participate. And that connection can lead to your next new job.
Companies are seeking workers for hundreds of jobs in many fields from entry-level to professional. Also, representatives from colleges, schools and other groups will meet with job seekers and career explorers to provide information about training, starting a business and careers.
The job fair features workshops to help you improve your job search. Sean Fetterman of Senior Talent Acquisition at Andersen Windows will give you job search tips. Tom Colosimo of University of Saint Thomas will speak about ways to boost your ability to interview. In addition, Stevie Ray of Stevie Ray’s Improv Company will teach you creative ways for getting noticed at job fairs and networking.
Free and open to everyone, the job fair is set from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eagan Civic Arena, 3870 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan. Parking is free.
Bus transportation between the job fair and Minnesota WorkForce Centers in Burnsville, Shakopee and West St. Paul will also be available at no charge.
