    August 29, 2014 - Today the Brookings Institution released a profile and analysis of the impact of the foreign student population in the Twin Cities metropolitan area as part of its Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of the Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase. The Geography of Foreign Students in U.S. Higher Education: Origins and Destinations analyzes the 11,623-large foreign student population in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area between 2008 and 2012 and highlights ways local leaders can bring global connections to the region’s economy.

The YouthBuild grant is among a total of $73.6 million awarded to 71 YouthBuild programs in 31 states.
