The WorkForce Center - Dakota County West St. Paul offers specialized services that provide individualized employment, training and support services to assist residents who meet specific eligibility requirements.
The Dislocated Worker Program is an employment and training program to help workers who have been laid off through no fault of their own (or have been notified that a layoff is pending) find new jobs as quickly as possible.
Complete the following steps. Please pay close attention to each step as incomplete applications will result in delays.

Our business services staff are available to help area companies with their business and workforce development needs.
Business Services Representatives help companies meet hiring and worker training needs and find the right solutions to a wide variety of business problems. They provide technical analysis and workforce strategy advice as well as basic and detailed business information.

Join Our Veterans Networking Job Club
Our networking group especially for veterans meets here at the West St. Paul WorkForce Center every Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Hear guest speakers, exchange ideas and job leads, get feedback and expert guidance on resume strategies, interviewing techniques and much more.
Participants must have a WorkForce Center member card to attend. To obtain a member card free of charge, visit our Resource Area staff for details. Be sure to arrive early if you do not have a member card. We reserve the right not to admit late arrivals.
Vocational Rehabilitation Services representatives work with people who have physical, learning, cognitive, or emotional disabilities that could result in barriers to finding employment.
The goal is to help people with disabilities overcome barriers in order to prepare for, find and keep a job.
