ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton will hold a news conference Monday, April 2 at 10:15am to declare the month of April, Financial Literacy Month in Minnesota.
Governor Dayton will be joined at the announcement by Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman, state Rep. Morrie Lanning, and state Sen. Jeff Hayden. In addition, a Little Falls high school teacher, a senior volunteer from the AARP Fraud Fighters, a college student, and member of the Minnesota National Guard will share personal testimony about why financial literacy is important in their lives.
