The Minnesota Department of Commerce and its various divisions generate a wealth of useful information for consumers, companies, media and other constituents. We've developed a variety of tools to help you keep track of this information. Below you'll find a brief overview of each tool.  Pick one or a combination that suits your needs.

Our calendar currently contains event listings for five different areas of the Department of Commerce.

• A general calendar spanning the entire department. 

• Specialized calendar for Energy Assistance Providers.

• Specialized calendar for Weights and Measures.

• Specialized calendar for Licensing.

• Specialized calendar for the Division of Energy Resources.

Calendar events are usually open to the public. There may be times when a representative of the department is giving a presentation to a specific stakeholder group and that organization controls access to the event. The calendar may also contain meeting/training notices for very specific audiences, such as Energy Assistance Providers. An event notice may include additional documents, which may be downloaded, describing the event as well as links to a website related to the event or maps to event locations. You may add events from the calendar to your personal calendar.

Each of our websites has a "contact us" page listing ways you can contact us. It includes maps and driving directions to our offices in St. Paul and Weights and Measures in Burnsville. A link to Contact Us is in the bottom footer area of all of our web pages.

You can subscribe to receive short email notices from us.  They will contain either news tidbits, a notice that new content has been posted on one or more of our websites, or announcements of interest.  Notices will usually link to content on any of our websites. You will need your email address and zip code in order to subscribe.  We will not sell, share, or use your email address for any purpose other than these notices.  You may unsubscribe yourself at any time or change the groups to which you belong by accessing your personal preferences.  Available lists may change from time to time depending on current activities in the department.

  • Energy Conservation Improvement Program: information primarily aimed at and useful to utility companies including efficiency projects, financial incentives, training opportunities, plus reports and data specific to businesses and industries.
