Energy Programs in Commercial and Industrial Buildings


This program's purpose is to generate cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements in commercial, industrial and nonprofit facilities.  The two categories included in the program are (1) Direct Improvement Projects and (2) Revolving Loans.

To be eligible under category 1 applicants must be an owner of either a commercial, industrial or nonprofit facility. Under category 2, an applicant must be an economic development authority or a nonprofit entity able to establish and operate revolving loan programs or similar financing mechanisms to finance cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements in commercial, industrial and nonprofit facilities in Minnesota.
