A stakeholder workshop will be held on Monday, Oct. 22 to help establish the scope for a Minnesota Energy Future Study on how Minnesota can achieve an energy future that does not rely on fossil fuels. The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.at the Science Museum of Minnesota in Saint Paul. It will present a review and assessment of relevant prior studies and begins the strategic framing for a potential Minnesota study. The workshop is open to the public; the meeting agenda and registration information is available. Rocky Mountain Institute will provide technical assistance to Commerce to develop the scope. Commerce will report the results of the scoping process to the Legislative Energy Commission by Jan. 1, 2014.
