Background: Rebates for Minnesota residential households to replace an old appliance (freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer or refrigerator) with a new qualifying Energy Star model.  Rebate and wait list reservations were available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Program launch date:  March 1, 2010 (rebate reservations were filled as of March 2, 2010)

Amount available:  $5.0 million

Number of applications reserved:  25,926 rebate and 9,400 wait list rebate applications were reserved as of March 2, 2010.

Number of applications received: 18,933 rebate applications and approximately 2,400 wait list applications (as of 4/30/10)

Rebates paid:  $4,690,400 in rebates awarded to 25,849 applicants (as of 5/25/11)
