$24.1 million in Fix-Up Fund loans have been closed, meaning the money is in the hands of consumers and ready to pay contractors

Background:
Provided rebates equal to 35% of the cost of the eligible improvements not to exceed $10,000 per household.
For contracted work on single family homes, duplexes up to four-plexes, a unit in a condominium, townhomes, and an individual unit in a planned unit development. All work financed by an MHFA Fix-up Fund or Community Fix-up Fund loan originated by a lender participating in the Energy Saver Rebate Program.
The following improvements were eligible for rebate:
High-efficiency Energy Star furnaces, boilers, and central air conditioners
Energy Star replacement windows
Energy Star replacement exterior doors
Energy Star light fixtures
Insulation in conjunction with air sealing
Water heaters if "orphaned" due to furnace replacement
