The Minnesota Department of Agriculture recently produced reports on the development and production of bioenergy. The reports cover the following topics: 

  • Bioenergy Development – Comprehensive review of state and federal policies, incentives and other opportunities for bioenergy development.  

  • Petroleum Replacement – Annual report on promotion efforts for meeting Minnesota’s petroleum replacement goals.  

  • Biobased Diesel Alternatives – Summary of developmental progress and market viability of biobased alternatives to diesel fuel.  

  • Legislative Report on Biodiesel – Annual report on Minnesota’s biodiesel industry and policies.  

  • Legislative Report on Ethanol – Update on Minnesota’s E20 mandate and other ethanol policies.  

  • NextGen Energy – Annual report on the progress and activities of Minnesota’s Next Generation Energy Board.
