Research also indicates that consumers who have bank accounts are more likely to own other assets including having savings accounts, credit and insurance. Conversely, individuals without accounts are less likely to own a home or a car.
23, 2013 - SAINT PAUL, MN – Ninety percent of working-age households in the U.S. are not saving enough for retirement and about forty-five percent have nothing saved at all. The Minnesota Department of Commerce is urging Minnesotans to take steps to start saving during National Save for Retirement Week.
