The Minnesota Board of Teaching offers Paraprofessionals a voluntary credential that allows Minnesota paraprofessionals to demonstrate additional training and preparation in working with Minnesota students. This credential is demonstrated through a set of competencies set forth in Minnesota Rule 8710.9000 and reviewed by the paraprofessional review panel. Submissions are accepted twice a year during the months of April and November.
